The Student Assistance Program (SAP) provides school‐based prevention and early intervention services to students seeking support or needing interventions for academics, behavior, and attendance.

SAP creates a unified team of school administrators, counselors and teachers along with SCCS group leaders and clinical interns. This team identifies and addresses student emotional and behavioral needs.

SCCS is currently partnered with the Redlands Unified School District and the Yucaipa-Calimesa Joint Unified School District to provide free, evidence-based curriculum via small group sessions, classroom presentations and individual counseling. The goal of SAP is to instill a positive and supportive environment into the students' daily school culture.

Services Include
  • group and individual counseling
  • substance abuse/misuse services
  • anger management classes
  • curriculum‐based psychosocial education
  • bullying interventions
  • classroom presentions of evidence-based interventions
