Many children and families experiencing difficulties lack the resources needed to attend services in a traditional office setting. Some families also fear the stigma associated with going to a mental health facility.

SCCS makes it easy and comfortable by bringing services to accessible and familiar settings such as school, home or community sites. Providing services to children in their school settings also helps them to globalize the progress they gain in treatment into real world situations.

Our school-focused services are offered in San Bernardino County and include:

• Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) program to detect and treat symptoms of struggles as early as possible after they arise
• Student Assistance Program (SAP) to provide support and intervention services to students who are struggling with academics, attendance and behavior in school
