Our Place Clubhouse is a safe place for individuals with a history of mental illness to gather and grow together through a variety of activities such as social groups, stress management, arts & crafts, cooking, exercise, and much more.
To see what's happening this month, check out our Monthly Calendar and Newsletter. Both are developed by Our Place Clubhouse members. The content below was also written by Clubhouse members.
Our goal is to assist individuals with mental illness to improve functioning in their daily living, working, and social environments. This involves creating an atmosphere that provides a safe environment where individuals can go to gain self‐esteem through participation in structured, intervention‐based social, educational, and vocational activities crucial for recovery from serious mental illness. Our Place is a member‐run, member-driven organization. This allows members to feel empowerment because of the self‐governance, self‐respect, and self‐sufficiency they are encouraged to have here at the Clubhouse. All services are offered at no cost to Our Place members. The program is open to anyone with a documented history of mental illness.
