I am very grateful for Wraparound services and believe that they were instrumental in

helping me to put my family back together. They equipped us with knowledge and the

resources that we needed so that we could continue to help ourselves. They helped us to look

for the positive things in our daily lives, to look at our strengths, and strengthen our areas of

weakness. They helped us to get planted more firmly on our feet, and didn't leave us until they

felt we could fly on our own. God knew my family and I would need more help, and I believe He sent

Wraparound to help us.

    When we first joined wraparound, we were clueless. You see, my brother had just come home from

being in a placement and we had no idea how to talk to him, joke with him, play with him, or anything.

Like I said, we were clueless. The Wrap Team jumped right in to our fiasco of a family and turned it all

around. They taught us how to work together as a family. The first thing we did was begin brainstorming

everyone's strengths. That was great for us because we had to think of positive things about each

other, not negative . It's so easy to see the bad in each other, but you have to look deeper to see the

good. The Wrap Team then asked us how we would describe our family in one sentence. I

never told anyone this, but at that time I probably would have thought of our family as an

overly busy family, with no social life, bustling about with no hope of moving forward in our life .You

see, Wraparound brought us that hope. Now I would describe us as a loving family moving forward each

and every day.
